As of today, I am now preparing myself for the Death Valley Challenge in November 2013. I've signed up!
At least I have more than a year to prepare, which should be enough. The information I have been given gives me a training plan, so hopefully that will get me to the correct level of fitness.
I've got a bike and helmet, have some interesting country roads around me and now some motivation to get outside and get fit!
